Here is the latest update on the registration for the counseling process for NEET MDS 2020 in Goa Dental College & Hospital, Bambolim, Goa. Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Masters of Dental Sciences(MDS) can now secure a seat in order of merit.

ABOUT GOA DENTAL COLLEGE

The Goa Dental College & Hospital is a professional Institution established by the Government of Goa in June 1980. This Institution is affiliated to the Goa University and recognized by the Dental Council of India. It is the only tertiary dental care centre in the state and has been rendering specialized services through nine departments in various specialities, which provide the students with clinical exposure and experience in imparting dental care to the patients. The Goa Dental College & Hospital offers the B.D.S. degree program, which comprises of a four year course and a one year compulsory paid rotating Internship with an intake capacity of 50 seats. Every year over 1,00,000 patients are being treated in this Institution; with an average OPD of 100 new patients per day.

FEES PAYABLE

BOND 

Candidates being admitted for MDS course shall be required to execute a bond that they shall serve the Government for a period of one year on completion of the MDS course, if called upon to do so, within a period of six months from the date of being eligible for award of degree.  Failure to complete the course and/or honour the Bond will attract penalty.

The post-graduate students shall abide by any decision of the Government that may be framed from time to time.

                           STIPEND TO POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS:
As per Govt. of Goa Order No.13/14/2001PHD/MISC/1623 dated 28/12/2017 the post-graduate students are presently paid a consolidated monthly stipend as follows:

3rd M.D.S.	55,000/-
*The stipend can be changed as per Govt. directives without prior intimation.

Stipend will be paid for a period of 36 months only.  No stipend is payable if the student has to continue his/her studies beyond three years.
HOSTEL FACILITIES:

Hostel facilities are available within the Goa Dental College & Hospital campus.  Candidates seeking hostel accommodation will have to give an undertaking to follow the rules and regulations prescribed from time to time.  The present fees payable for the Hostel are as follows:
