Key Highlights & Evaluation Policies

  • Full Marks Awarded for Erroneous Questions: Following a post-exam technical review by subject-matter experts, certain questions were identified as technically incorrect. NBEMS has awarded full marks for these questions to all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted them or not.
  • State Quota Merit Lists: The overall NEET-MDS 2026 rank represents a candidate’s merit position nationwide. Separate final merit lists for State Quota seats will be generated independently by respective States and Union Territories based on their specific reservation policies and eligibility rules.

Scorecard Availability and Crucial Guidelines

Candidates looking to download their individual scorecards should keep the following strict timelines and rules in mind:

  • Download Window: Scorecards will be available for download starting June 10, 2026, via the official website. This download facility will remain active for only six months.
  • Access Rules: Scorecards are system-generated and must be accessed exclusively through the candidate’s secure login credentials. NBEMS will not entertain requests to send scorecards via email or communication portals, nor will they provide them after the six-month deadline has expired. Candidates are strongly urged to download and securely store their scorecards for the entire duration of the admission process.

Document Verification and Tie-Breaking Caution

Candidates must ensure that all data provided during registration is entirely accurate. The counseling and admitting authorities will cross-verify the aggregate BDS professional examination percentages submitted in the application forms against original documents during admission.

Important Note on Tie-Breaks: If a candidate’s aggregate BDS percentage was used as a tie-breaker to determine their NEET-MDS 2026 rank, any discrepancy or incorrect information found in that data during physical verification will result in the immediate cancellation of their candidature. Furthermore, strict penal action will be taken against anyone found utilizing unfair means during any stage of the examination process.
